TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This website is owned and operated by The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant. Business address 121 Hastings Road, Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN2 4JU. Owner is Matthew Marshall.
The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant is not an e-commerce business. Sales are made at Farmer's Markets and Fairs, (that include Book Fairs and Antique Fairs for our books and ephemera), and by email/telephone order. We also sell books on www.abebooks.co.uk under the name of DG RARE BOOKS.
Our products are packed in heat sealed bags/pouches that are food safe and purchased from reputable packaging companies. The choice of packaging may change from time to time depending on availability of suppliers or current biodegradable trends. Each pack will have the name of the food product enclosed, the ingredients listed including any allergens, and the Best Before Date for consumption.
Books we sell on www.abebooks.co.uk are sold under the terms and conditions of www.abebooks.co.uk, for both sellers and buyers.
The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant is registered with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
These terms and conditions apply to all orders via the Contact Form or at one of the Markets I sell at. They do not affect your statutory rights and if you think there is a mistake in these terms or require any changes, please contact me to discuss.
The contract between us
Once you order a food product or other item (by email, telephone or via www.abebooks.co.uk) from The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant (or DG RARE BOOKS) this brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
Changes to this website
The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant website is a dormant website meaning I cannot change the details written on the pages without contacting a member of the website host's support team. Therefore prices listed on this website may no longer be accurate after 28th February 2020 when added to the site. For up to date information of coffees and teas discontinued, or newly added then please visit my Facebook page. Likewise dates of Markets listed may change, and lists for Book Fairs we are selling at can be found on our DG RARE BOOKS Facebook page.
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to our sales at Markets, Fairs and Abebooks.co.uk are governed by English law. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions only cover The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant website. Any other websites which we are linked to from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. I accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites, which are not under our control. I am required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only.
You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.
We make no warranty that The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error–free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website.
If you change your mind about any items you have purchased from us, please notify us within 7 days of receipt and return the goods for a full refund. In this event we will not normally refund your return postage and again a refund can only be made by the same method as that used for the original purchase. As we mainly sell food products we do not accept the return of any opened packs of coffees and/or teas that we have sealed for hygienic purposes and to maintain the high quality of the contents before leaving our premises. The packaging of the products may change from time to time and may vary from that shown on the images on this website.
We no longer sell our coffee and tea products online and only at Markets or Fairs, or via telephone or email order. Our stock of books and ephemera are sold at Book Fairs and on Abebooks.co.uk where payments are made by card on that site or PayPal. We do not see your card payment details.
The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant also accepts payment in cash and by PAYPAL. All product prices listed are shown in UK Pounds sterling and delivery charges will be added. Your payment card company will perform any currency conversion. We also accept cheques and postal orders made out to 'The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant', but cheques will have to be cleared by our bank before your product is sent to you.
Availability of goods you order
The Daily Grind: Coffee & Tea Merchant purchases the coffees and teas from well established and highly recommended UK suppliers, plus one speciality coffee from America. As a small home-based business we may not always have sufficient stock to bring adequate packs of coffees and teas to the Markets and we try our very best to re-stock as soon as possible, and are therefore happy to deliver packs locally. We will keep you up to date with information about your request.
